Shreyas Joshi

I write... I compose... I orate... I enjoy my passion!

From the moment I realized that there was an emotional build up in me, or a certain thing I wanted to voice my opinion on, my outlet had always been a pen and paper. I always found myself purged of any form of anxiety, stress or frustration once I had penned down my emotions. Here as you attempt to read hoping to know a little more about me, I am trying to show you that I will be what you think of me. But as you venture through the myriad of emotions I went through, I hope with each work you see a new me, a new you.

To find what I love writing about is a journey I am still on and I guess it is one of those journeys' that would continue till the last full stop you etch. Poetry to me is like the cool summer breeze on a beach around the time of sunset. It sets you brooding, fills you with awe of everything around you and yet is ever so calming. Prose is like a canvas to me, where I love to paint, to detail every bit of what I see, fantasize and feel. It is here that I crack wide open the societal shell and hold up to view the important issues we so efficiently neglect.

Writers can produce material across a number of genres, fictional or non-fictional. Other writers use multiple media – for example, graphics or illustration – to enhance the communication of their ideas. Another recent demand has been created by civil and government readers for the work of non-fictional technical writers, whose skills create understandable, interpretive documents of a practical or scientific nature. The term writer is often used as a synonym of author, although the latter term has a somewhat broader meaning and is used to convey legal responsibility for a piece of writing, even if its composition is anonymous, unknown or collaborative.
